Using the production of clean, healthy food to address modern health crises and climate instability has gained traction in recent years, but we still have a long way to go. With an exponentially growing population, the widespread consumption of cheap, highly processed food is causing widespread health issues and costly environmental damage on a planet with finite resources.\u00a0<\/p>\n The solution lies in reengaging with the natural order and embracing biodiversity. Microbes and other living organisms have refined the process of cycling energy over billions of years. This regenerative nutrient loop, occurring in the soil, the sea, and within our own bodies, is essential to our well-being. Our participation in this process depends entirely on how we choose to feed ourselves. Personal dietary choices and global food systems are equally critical to maintaining a stable life. Whether viewed as medicine or policy, the cultural, familial, societal, planetary, and personal benefits of good food are unmatched. It is time to embrace it.<\/p>\n The impact of adopting proper practices in how we feed ourselves has a net positive, unintended consequence on human and public health. This approach, known as regenerative agriculture, also greatly benefits the stability of the environment we share with all other living inhabitants, big and small. Without a sea-change in our commitment to better food production, we will devour our planet for short-term gain, leaving biodiversity and our wellbeing in the wake. Without more solutions for change, we will leave behind a succession plan of increased political, social, and climate instability.<\/p>\n And now, our goal with this talk show is to celebrate leading voices from the land and sea who are committed to amplifying food values tied to proper natural resource management. We must harmonize with regenerative forces for all their benefits to us, our shared inhabitants, and the planet as a whole.
