a talkshow miniseries -ft. dynamic leaders from food & environmental movements

6-part series

Sometimes in life you’re lucky enough to come across individuals that are nothing short of a force-of-nature. High impact go-getters that make things happen. But what’s even more rare is when that kind of gumption combines with real purpose. That kind of passion is a whole different type of fuel that’ll drive success in motivated people. Occasionally it even manifests itself into a kind of superpower that’s capable of moving mountains, and hopefully stabilizing a planet under threat.

This talk show miniseries features leaders from across food and environmental movements. In each of the 6 episode we get into what drives them, and what they’re doing so well when others haven’t been as successful in the past.

Each guest in this series is backed by their unique brand of gravitas and purpose, and they’re all a different rendition of that force multiplier superpower described above.

Each is a force-of-nature in their own right.

Tune-in and be inspired!

In the miniseries we listen in to what the experts have to say about taking food and planetary action.

LEARN ABOUT:

  1. World water super-agent Henk Ovink talks with us about the importance of water management in nourishing growing populations and stabilizing the planet.
  2. “Eating is an agricultural act” is a pretty good call to arms for consumer empowerment. Eating food as environmental & climate action is too. We learn from Volkert Engelsman how a collective consciousness around food, production, nature, our health and planetary stability may finally be ripe on the vine.
  3. Did you know – the only future of a stable planet is with regional food systems. Hear from Jennifer Hashley about her efforts sussing-out how to make local / regional production work.
  4. There is capacity to evolve Land Use & agricultural practice. But when? On a 7500 acre multi-dimensional farm and forestry operation near Berlin, Benedict Bösel says that day is today.
  5. Sara Farley speaks about the role of food and its production in climate action and empowerment
  6. We hear how to responsibly source product lines to half the world’s population from Eric Soubeiran

FORCES OF NATURE

Informed daily choices can sculpt behavior changes

Good food is always a smart investment in yourself. It’s the foundation of your own personal health, well-being and performance. That alone makes it an easy decision. As it turns out, food produced with elevated standards also tastes better too. It’s micro & macro nutrient dense offering more depth in taste and experience. Taste in human beings is a superpower in the animal kingdom. Believe it or not, everyone can taste (and desire) the robust differences of good food. It’s preventative health care that can satisfy and feed our hedonistic indulgences.

Today, all of that good (food) stuff comes wrapped around with so much more potential. Good food is now about backing climate and social action everyday. Good food is like a gateway for more of us to make better lifestyle choices. So, will the empowered stomach build a collective consciousness, and grow ecological enlightenment? Hell yes!

eating is an agricultural act.

– Wendell Berry

The production of good food also creates local jobs, fosters community engagement and expands regional food security for anyone who buys in. Between the many personal benefits, the positive planetary impacts, the community enhancements, and economic prosperity that good food shepherds in – and now the opportunity to align social & climate interests – good food deserves a place at more tables.

I believe that people don’t follow great ideas alone. We seek-out leaders who pioneer a path and help us move forward. Folks who walk us over new thresholds that can enlighten different thinking and behaviors. Our guests in this series are these types of leaders. Tune-in and let them invigorate a passion, or scratch that itch to find something bigger, or quench a thirst to do some real good simply by taking action in every bite.

So, there it is, be swept-up by these FORCES OF NATURE.
